Art Therapy sessions are 50 minutes in duration and are highly individualized. Art therapy is a process-oriented form of psychotherapy that incorporates the use of artmaking in a therapeutic session. The act of artmaking in itself can be therapeutic as well as provide opportunities to explore thoughts and emotions, creative expression, and provide space for introspection. Art is used as a tool to help facilitate the expression of thoughts and emotions. Art therapy can benefit people with a variety of cognitive, behavioral, or emotional needs. Art therapy is for any and all individuals, you do not have to be a trained artist to use art therapy. Individual therapeutic sessions are offered virtually and in person.
